PostSecret author Frank Warren at Owens Community College

Last night, the creator of http://www.postsecret.com/, Frank Warren, gave a presentation at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts at Owens Community College. According to the website for Owens Community College, "Post Secret originated from a community art project based on a simple concept: asking people to anonymously send a secret on a decorated postcard. Since November 2004, Warren has received more than 400,000 postcards, with secrets spanning from sexual taboos and criminal activity to confessions of secret beliefs, hidden acts of kindness, shocking habits and fears."

It was very entertaining to hear him share what various people have sent to him on postcards. He has also received secrets on other items in the mail such as a  potato, a bag of coffee, and a picture of himself that was taken at one of his sessions. Probably the most bizarre postcard he shared was one showing a picture of a woman's breast and a pair of tweezers pulling out a strand of hair  from the aerola.

He currently has five books in print, "PostSecret; Extraordinary Confessions from Ordinary Lives", "My Secret: A PostSecret Book", "A Lifetime of Secrets: A PostSecret Book", "The Secret Lives of Men and Women", and "PostSecret: Confessions on Life, Death, and God".

If you have a secret that you would like to share with him, send it to PostSecret/Frank Warren, 13345 Copper Ridge Rd, Germantown, MD 20874-3454.
